Couple promises to lead a healthy life!

It is not hidden that everyone desires a long, healthy and happy life of togetherness. To achieve this, it’s crucial to have a healthy daily routine and to make healthy choices to keep yourself on track.

Batra says love will only flourish if you are healthy. When you promise your better half that you’ll be there for each other and support each other in every given situation, it is very important that your body is healthy to fulfill the promise. So, this Promise Day, promise each other these promises.

Here are 5 couples promising a better life:

1. Stop eating junk food

Junk foods do more harm than good! They are not only high in calories but come with very little amount of dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals or other important forms of nutritional value. They may leave you feeling drained, bloated, and unable to concentrate in the short term. While over time it may result in bad bowel habits and dental health problems. Couples should make a commitment to give up junk food, or at least they’ll try. Make a strategy for yourself and progressively reduce your intake of junk food.

2. Exercise

Sitting too long and not doing physical activities might be harmful to your health. Your energy levels may decline, and your health problems may worsen. Therefore, stay active often. Batra says, “Maintaining health through exercise is one of the most significant health goals you can set. You can work out at home or both of you can join a gym. Be sure to stick to your schedule and put in time for exercise.” Don’t lead a sedentary lifestyle either!

3. Switch to organic food

It is crucial that you consume a nutritious diet if you want to stay healthy and prevent future health problems. Healthy organic foods that increase immunity include strawberries, apples, peaches, celery, grapes, and cherries. That’s because they contain certain flavonoids, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids, all of which promise you a long and healthy life. In addition, reduce your intake of sugar, eat more green vegetables, and spice up your meals with herbs and spices.

4. Count calories

One of the most harmful variables that raises the possibility of additional health problems is weight gain. You should therefore pay close attention to how many calories you are consuming. Batra says, “Counting your calories each time you eat will help you keep track of what you are eating and what amendments you can make to your diet to eat healthier.” This way you can avoid unwanted weight gain.

5. Cook or learn to cook

You can spend time enjoying each other’s company by cooking together at home. Additionally, cooking at home has some overlooked health advantages, such as consuming fewer calories, mindful eating, and adhering to a nutritious diet. Even Batra agrees that by doing this, you’ll eat clean and be better able to stick to your diet.
