Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “Sally you’re truly amazing and always look stunning.”

Another wrote: “You are looking great in that dress this morning – a lovely start to the week ahead.”

A third penned: “Good god Sally! Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe how you look this morning! Simply perfect.”

Sally recently split from her husband Gavin Hawthorn, 52.

Gavin is believed to have moved out of the £1.4million Cheshire home he shared with Sally.

BBC Breakfast favorite Sally hasn’t publicly addressed the break-up but has been spotted not wearing her wedding ring.

Meanwhile, speaking about their split, a friend of the couple told The Mail: “It’s very sad but they are no longer together.

“I think they tried to tough it out for quite a while as they didn’t want to split up if they could possibly help it for the sake of their son but they clearly couldn’t make a go of it.

“They’ve both been very guarded about the reasons behind their growing apart but it’s been plain for a while that they had been and now it’s obvious that they haven’t been able to resolve that despite clearly trying for some time.”

Reports suggest the pair’s careers made have played a part in the demise of their relationship.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
